It's that time of year again... December is usually when I start thinking about new colors for the new year. No, these aren't available for purchase. Some may be in the future but I'm just playing with ideas for now. One thing is for certain, there will be big changes to my whole line of lures in 2024. Going to be taking a bit of a step backwards in regards to colors that I offer. So if there's a color for one of my lures that you're particularly fond of, you might want to stock up! I'm also open to suggestions on colors so feel free to let me know what you'd like to see in 2024!

Some highly scientific sink rate comparisons of the SOFT SPOT and SOFT SPOT MINI. Check 'em out and let me know what you think in the comments!

It's been a wild ride getting these bad Larry's ready for y'all but the wait is almost over. Stay tuned for the final update 8-27-23

A tough week of fishing the New River led to a tough day fishing on game day. We struggled all week to find fish for event 1 of the Redfish Madness 2 man series. Late in the week we had even strongly considered making a long, painful and slow run in the ol' Sundance skiff in hopes of finding fish. We ultimately decided to stick to the plan and grind it out in the New River. I can't speak for my partner but I'm grateful for the two dinks that managed to break the 18" line, especially with what little prospect we had going in. An unimpressive bag of 4.96lbs put us 26th out of 44 but got us in the points for the series. Congrats to the winners.

I get a lot of questions about sink rates for my lures. I'm always hesitant to give actual numbers because they will change based on conditions (salinity, current, water temperature, etc etc.). I usually give a general answer, such as "it's a slow sink" or "it's similar to a 17mr". This video shows a 17mr vs a MHC Twitch bait. This is just showing how it compares to another brand that you may be more familiar with so you can make an informed decision. Bonus video I. The comments shows the MHC soft bait (not available yet) I've been working on versus a Fatboy. Keep in mind both of these videos are done in 71 degree water with zero salinity, no current, no line drag, no wind, etc. Your results may vary.
