Help the Morehead City Police Department Stuff the Cruiser for our teachers on August 17th!

You can donate school supplies from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday at Walmart in Morehead City.

If you are unable to donate on this date, you can drop off items in advance to the Police Department at 300 N. 12th Street. They can be accepted during regular business hours, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.

📧 New CCP students: If you can't access your schedule, we’re sending it to your personal email or calling home.
💻 If your CCPS Chromebook isn't working, borrow a laptop from the Carteret Community College Library.

West boys looking to bounce back after disappointing soccer season MOREHEAD CITY — The West Carteret boys soccer team lost 10 games last season, and five of them came by one goal apiece.

📝 Attention Patriot families! Unlike elementary or middle schools, high schools don’t have standard supply lists. Each student’s schedule is unique, and different classes may require different materials.

In general, notebooks/paper, pencils, and calculators are always helpful. Once schedules are released, we recommend that students email their teachers to check if they need anything specific for their classes.

Let’s get ready for a great school year!

Plenty of excitement around talented West volleyball team with 11 seniors on docket MOREHEAD CITY — This year’s West Carteret volleyball team is chockfull of potential.

Our campus will remain open, as there are no current cancellations for weather this week at the district level. Band practices and other summer activities are at the discretion of the individual schools/advisors/coaches. Please follow your groups for updates!

📚🎒 Need school supplies? Tomorrow’s the day! Rain or Shine, swing by Parkview Baptist Church (4738 Arendell St) between 8:00am-11:00am. Students can pick out backpacks, supplies, new shoes, and even get a haircut—all thanks to Carteret County Community Partners! Community entities like our Child Nutrition Services, Social Services, and others will also be on hand. ✂️👟✏️

🚍 Attention Patriots! We're gearing up for the new school year with important bus information.

Join us at Freshman/New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 22nd, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. We'll have a Bus Table with route details and bus forms. Bus routes will be posted on the walls, and drivers will be available to answer your questions.

For our current students, bus drivers usually make phone calls to previous bus riders the weekend before school starts to share route updates. Stay tuned as we finalize the new routes.
