Many THANKS to those who participated in the survey process of the Adrienne Mitchell Park Lighting Project. According to both the City of Moreno Valley and the UC Davis Research Lighting Department, the installation process has taken longer than expected. It started in May and is expected to be completed by the second week of July. The follow-up survey process will begin three months after that, around October. We will be holding a community event so stay tuned.

We are happy to report that our partnerships in the community continue to grow. Edgemont Women's Club adopted Edgemont Elementary. As you see, the President, Dr. Mary McBean, spoke to the students about her former position as a Registered Nurse and how important it is on following directions. Definitely a lesson the students can use.

05/30/2023

We appreciate the partnership we have built with the Soroptimist International of Moreno Valley which allowed them to help collect surveys from the Edgemont Elementary school parents. They are still there so complete the survey, pickup some refreshments and be eligible to win a $25 restaurant gift card. They are there until 5pm.

Edgemont Women's Club would like to set the record straight.
As a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization, we are required to be non-sectarian, non-commercial and non-partisan as it relates to political campaign activities.
Our objective is to represent, protect and advance the spiritual, educational, social and economic interests of the residents of Moreno Valley/Edgemont Community.
Having said that, the statement(s) made at the Tuesday, 5/2/23 City Council meeting about the Edgemont Women's Club supporting a proposed light-industrial/warehouse development in the residential area of Edgemont is not true and we have not accepted the $5000 donation offered by the Developer.
On a positive note, we are excited to share our involvement with UC Davis and the City of Moreno Valley regarding a Lighting Project scheduled for the Adrienne Mitchell Park in Edgemont. Stay tuned for more information.
