Take your Game Day sliders to the end zone with this King's Hawaiian Carne Asada slider recipe! 🏈 Savor the irresistible flavor of King's Hawaiian rolls with our Stater Bros. marinated Carne Asada. 🍔

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 lb. Marinated Carne Asada, cooked
1 can (15 oz.) Stater Bros. Refried Beans
Stater Bros. Shredded Mexican Cheese
Food Club Sour Cream
2 tbsp. Stater Bros. Salted Butter, melted
1 pkg. (9 ct.) King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
Guacamole, optional for serving

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Keeping slider buns connected, separate top from bottom. Brush butter evenly on top slider buns and set aside. Brush butter evenly onto the open face of bottom buns.
3. Place bottom slider buns (open side up) onto baking sheet. Loosely cover in foil and bake in oven for 5 minutes. This will lightly toast the bottom buns to create a sturdier base for your sliders.
4. Spread a thin layer of refried beans on to bottom slider buns. Then evenly carne asada, followed by a layer of cheese onto bottom buns. Place top slider buns next to bottom buns and throw it all back into oven for another 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted. Loosely cover top slider buns with foil if needed to prevent burning.
5. When cheese is melted take everything out of the oven. Separate all slider buns and proceed to dress your sliders with sour cream and guacamole. Then cover with top slider bun and serve immediately.

🍝🔥 Say hello to our mouthwatering Hatch Chile Grilled Chicken Penne Pasta! This dish features perfectly grilled chicken tossed with penne pasta smothered in a rich and creamy Hatch chile sauce.

Ingredients:
1 pack of penne pasta
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon paprika salt & pepper to taste 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can of hatch chiles (4 oz)
2 cups heavy cream (or 16 oz)
½ cup Parmesan cheese Parsley

Directions:
1. Prep Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta al dente according to package instructions.
2. Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt garlic powder, thyme, paprika, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large heavy-duty grill over high heat and cook chicken breasts for one to two minutes per side until golden brown, then lower the heat to medium- high for 5 minutes per side or until cooked thoroughly.
Remove from heat and set aside.
4. Cook the butter, chopped hatch chiles and garlic for 1 minute or until fragrant.
5. Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Whisk until fully incorporated and
creamy. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
6. Drain pasta and cut chicken into slices and return to the same pan. Stir to combine and serve!
7. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.

Tracing our beginnings back to a small grocery store in Yucaipa, CA, twin brothers and World War II veterans Cleo and Leo Stater purchased the original Stater Bros. Market from W.A. Davis with a $600 down payment. In the midst of the Great Depression, Stater Bros. officially opened for business on August 17, 1936.

Today, we proudly celebrate 88 years of serving our valued community. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for letting us be a part of yours.
