Home Ready for a Seasonal Refresh?

Try adding a pop of color with the Blythe Blanket or Pillow!

Each easy Blythe square is knit with a deceptively complicated 16-row pattern ... 2 rows of each color are worked in stockinette stitch (knit 1-row, purl 1-row) with a slip stitch (pass 1 stitch from the right needle to the left needle) pattern row interspersed between the solid color stockinette stitch rows. Easy knitting!

Each Blythe square is knit with 2 balls of Silk Garden or 2 balls of Kuryeon on size 8 needles. Each square measures approximately 15 3/4" x 15 3/4". The blanket is made by attaching 12 squares in a 3 square x 4 square configuration.

Our family always cozies with my grandma Barrett's crocheted blankets throughout the fall/winter season. At Clear Lake, on the back of the couch, perched for easy use during a summertime nap is Dave's grandma Berthiaume's mulit-color granny square afghan.

This easy 4-row pattern is reversible and won't curl up on the edges. So versatile and so fun! The cowl is knit flat, then twisted and the seams are only sewn half way which offers you lots of fun ways to wear the cowl.

Taiyo Triangular Scarf!
The triangular scarf is knit on size 9 needles with one ball of Taiyo, using a two row pattern while increasing on both side edges. The right side row includes yarn overs and knit 2 togethers and the wrong side is simply a purl row. This is a good introduction to working pattern stitches since there is only one row with a pattern to follow.
