Happy Veterans Day! Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice. We honor those who have served and continue to serve our country, and we are deeply grateful for the freedoms your service provides. Thank you for your commitment, bravery, and resilience. From all of us at , we wish you a very happy Veterans Day.

With temperatures dropping this week our neighbors who have lost so much will need warm clothing. We have a bin located at the front of the store for those who have any gently used or new jackets, coats, sweaters and other cold weather clothing they would like to donate.

Well it’s been an unbelievable and unthinkable past week and a half. Our Morganton family has seen devastation like never before!! As bad as we got hit, it pales in comparison to our brothers and sisters north and west of us. God bless those in Spruce Pine, Burnsville, Asheville and all those neighboring towns. The store has been insanely busy. Trying to supply every customer with not only the merchandise they desperately need, but more importantly to share a friendly smile and open ear. Everyone has a story to tell we’re here to listen. Some stories are just too hard to tell. It’s our job to comfort. I’m so proud of my staff. All are working extremely hard to help our neighbors. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folk has never taken on a greater meaning.

10/1/24: Good evening from Northwest Ace Hardware in Morganton, NC. We wanted to provide you with a list of items we have received from our NC/VA Northwest Ace family of stores to restock our community with items everyone needs.

We have a new large shipment of Generac 6500 watt gas generators, 5 gallon gas cans, batteries, lantern flashlights, extension cords, chain saws, 16oz propane bottles, propane tanks and more. Blossman propane has refilled our propane tanks if you are in need of a refill.

🚨🚨9/30/24 2:55pm another emergency truck just arrived with 15 more generators. They will be available on a first come first serve basis. They are the Generac 6500 at a price of $899.00 plus tax. They are available on a first come first serve basis.

**Sunday Evening UPDATE *** we have just received our truck load of generators. They will be available tomorrow morning beginning at 7:30 am on a first come first serve basis. We are able to take credit/debit cards or cash as form of payment. The photo below is the generator we have received. It was the only size available for us to purchase.

🚨UPDATE 🚨: We have power! Propane is in full operation. Our shipment of generators will be arriving this evening and we will have them when we open tomorrow morning. We will be opening early on Sunday at 7:30 am.

We are open! We have 148 generators arriving today. We are not accepting online orders as they will be available on a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately phone lines are down so there is no way to call the store. We will post more information once we receive our delivery.

Power out? We have a few generators in stock. We also have flashlights and batteries. We are open ready to serve you. Be safe out there.
