Each month we Pilots create what we call “pick me up” Projects. They’re small projects to uplift caregivers and support workers in our community. In months past, our club has provided goodie bags to Burke EMS, Morganton Department of Public Safety and many other like projects. This month however, we collected gift cards for a fellow Pilot who is struggling with her own health and yet still caring for her bed ridden spouse. To show our love, we made her a bouquet of gift cards. $250 in all!!!Please remember the special but unnamed family in yours prayers…they are truly a blessing to others. If you’d like to help your local Pilots considering joining us for a meeting - the first Thursday of each month. Contact us here to RSVP - we’d love to have you.
Making Valentine Cards for residents at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center was an extra special club project. We collected 136 cards. Thank you Pilots for throughout the community!!
Pilots, your Projects Committee would like to request you bring Valentine Cards to our next General Meeting on February 2nd at 6:15 at the Community House. We will fill out the cards and the Projects Committee Chairperson will hand deliver the cards to JIRDC Volunteer Services on Friday the 3rd.
