Behringer Saws, in our effort to demonstrate continuous improvement and to support our growing customer base, has added two new team members. We are pleased to introduce Dave Johnson in our Field Service Department, and Calvin Foust as a Project Engineer. Both Dave and Calvin arrive with backgrounds that prepare them well for immediate added value, helping to assure new sawing systems are installed efficiently and accurately, and providing quick responses that existing customers can count on. Welcome to the team, gentlemen!

Unfortunately, experienced and well-trained machine operators are getting harder and harder to come by. Therefore, the introduction of the new Human Machine Interface (HMI) controller by Behringer Saws comes just at the right time. Our new controller is virtually an “Operator in a Box”, and takes the tedious decision making regarding materials, blades, and speeds/feeds out of the process. Instead, the HMI automatically puts this information right at their fingertips.

After 15 years of dedicated service, Richard “Rick” Klipp will be retiring as President of Behringer Saws, Inc. During his tenure, Rick has helped bring significant growth to the business, and generated many long-term customer partnerships. Stepping in as new President will be Sanjay Parikh. Sanjay comes to Behringer from Joseph Machine, with over 20 years of sawing experience in the window/door industry. We would like to thank Rick for all of his contributions over the years, and welcome Sanjay into his new role. Going forward, Rick will still be participatory with the company in a consulting and business development capacity.

We are very saddened to share news of the untimely passing of Randy Smith. Randy was the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Behringer Saws, having worked with us for over 10 years. Randy was a dedicated team player who put the needs of his customers and colleagues first. He had a contagious smile and a quick wit which always brightened the day of those around him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, customers, everyone at Behringer Saws, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Here at Behringer Saws, we are anxiously preparing for Fabtech 2023, which is now just weeks away! This not-to-be-missed trade show runs from September 11–14 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Stop by and visit Saw City in Booth to see everything that is new in the world of sawing!

In keeping with our Continuous Improvement Process, Behringer Saws is pleased to introduce a new Human Machine Interface (HMI) for the majority of our automatic sawing systems. This HMI includes new touchscreen controls for simpler and more intuitive operation, and the ability to put more data at the operator's fingertips. The end result will be a control that allows for easier operation, more precise sawing settings, and automated selection of speeds/feeds based on materials and blade tooth pitch. The new controls will be appearing on saws shipping to customers in the month ahead. We are excited about this new control system, and are confident our customers will find it delivers even greater sawing efficiencies.

Behringer Saws continues to invest in strengthening our Field Service team with the addition of our newest employee, Josh George! Josh comes to Behringer having worked most recently for Martin Sprocket & Gear as chief maintenance technician, where he was responsible for the entire machine shop. He is currently completing his in-house training program with us, and will be out on the road supporting our customers in the weeks ahead. Welcome to the team, Josh!

The Behringer Eisele VA-L 500E is a high performance, non-ferrous circular cold saw, with capacities up to 7” round or 9” x 6” rectangle. This machine makes fast work of aluminum solids, tubes, or extrusions, and with integrated input loading magazines and output sorting units, can raise your non-ferrous sawing to a whole new level of efficiency. The VA-L 500E saws are now in stock here at our facility in Morgantown, PA, and we would be pleased to discuss your particular non-ferrous sawing requirement with you!

Behringer Saws is pleased to welcome the latest addition to our growing team, Cris Willey. Cris is joining Behringer as our new Parts Department Assistant Manager. His prior experience in warehouse management and supervision, most recently with D&S Grocery and Kohl’s, will help strengthen our parts department and bring solid levels of service to our North American customer base.
