As a reminder- it’s cheaper and preferred if you can text and Venmo, or just Venmo with classes on the memo, to help us be the most efficient! Make sure you choose the correct Venmo (Ocala-eventing)

The jumping will take place in the new big arena where dressage normally is. Come to the tent near the arena to pay or sign releases if needed!

Fred Berry, MFH Sedgefield Hunt (NC) decided to do the hardest horse race in the world this year. The Mongol Derby started yesterday - 1,000 kilometers over 10 days over the unforgiving steppe while riding the intimidating Mongol ponies. This is not for the faint of heart.

We are open for schooling! The footing loved the many inches of rain we received. The lower coffins are still water logged but everything else is ready to school!

As we prepare for the AEC’s and other fall events, we are happy to set specific questions to practice- please let us know and we will set it up for you 😊

We are very lucky to have Lori Hoos as our judge, who will be one of the judges at AEC’s!
If we do not have enough jumping entries, we will still plan to run a dressage show/ ride a test.

*update: owner found! Then two more dogs showed up (white Anatolian shepherds)

Anyone recognize this dog? It and another showed up this morning. Has a collar but seems skittish and won’t want to scare it off!

Cross country courses are set for our derby this Saturday, June 22! Come school!

We are also offering ride a tests, not too late to sign up!

We will have troughs of ice water near the wash rack and xc finish to help cool horses and riders out!

Save the Date for the Area 3 Championships prep on June 22! Derby and dressage only will be offered. We are also planning on offering stadium days in our new large arena with some of our new jumps and fillers. Let us know if week days or weekends are preferable!

We also desperately need a few more volunteers! We need a warmup steward for dressage and jumping, a dressage scribe, a score runner, and possibly a few others! It’ll be a smaller show which means a shorter day!

As always, happy to take requests for specific questions at a certain elements, or at certain point on course. We also offer “pairs” which is a great opportunity for a green horse to get a lead!
