The Owner: Sally Hoiles

Sally Hoiles opened, “Yesterday’s Child” in 1980 in Milburn, NJ. Her corner store quickly became too small for her ever growing clientele so she relocated to Maplewood, where she remained for almost a decade.

There, she became very well known for carrying high end children’s clothes while also offering the best customer service in the business. Sally and her lovely shop have been featured on WOR Radio, the Bernardsville News, the Star Ledger, and many other publications.

“Tadpoles to Toddlers” is Sally’s latest venture and she hopes to expand by opening an additional store in the area to reach other moms in need of quality children’s merchandise at affordable prices.
