Most ATVs & UTVs today are belt driven, and belt failure is one of the most common issues that can affect the performance of your buggy.

A few signs you may have a worn or damaged belt include loss of speed or power, a faint smell of rubber burning, or starting rough and jerky.

LET’S TALK TRAILER!

Now that the sun is calling, it time to give your trailer a little attention before you head out.
Nothing ruins a great day on the water quite like not making it there or a malfunction on the way home. Trust me, we’ve been there. Fixing a flat on a loaded pontoon boat trailer is a major pain 🙄

Here’s a few things that can definitely cause a hiccup on your way to and from the water:

Nothing is more frustrating than hopping on your bike & hitting the trail, only to realize you’ve gone into limp mode and have no power or your engine is overheating and you’ve got to shut it down.

Most of the time it’s a simple fix, such as checking coolant levels or a clogged up radiator. In these cases, a little preventative maintenance goes a long way.

Sometimes it takes a little more digging to find the root of the problem. This Commander 1000 came in this morning in limp mode. Fortunately, we were able to get him all fixed up and back in the seat by this afternoon.

Whether it’s a stuck thermostat, a leak in the coolant system, a voltage regulation problem, or something a little less common, we’ll quickly diagnose and fix it for you, getting you out back on the trail where you really want to be!

What exactly is a Portal on a SXS?

A Portal Gear Lift is a type of lift that is used instead of a traditional suspension lift to add more ground clearance to the bike while lowering the gear ratio for added torque, which will allow the bike to turn larger tires.

When riding in mud or water, it’s important to check the oil and portal bearings after the ride. Open up the box, check for discolored oil, rust or damage on the internals. Leaving this undone can lead to major damage to the bearings, gears or even to the box.
