Tumblestone Farm

Had a fun barn outing today to Double C Ranch for some pony brain gymnastics! So much fun!! :)

Getting so many projects checked off the list!! :) 2 tack rooms have had a major overhaul, and we finally have a proper farm sign installed. I was very skeptical about doing the sign - an old wives tale is that it's bad luck to put one up until youve done a full turn of the seasons... we're well past that, so hopefully we're good!! 😊😊

FINALLY. THE SWITCH IS FLIPPED! We're officially 100% Solar!!! Whoooo!! :)

It's Spring Cleaning week! So far, the barn has been thoroughly power washed, all the electrical cords have been organized and put out of sight, and today we're levelling stalls & rematting Marco's stall & the hay/wash rack area.
Couldn't do this without my insanely supportive and stellar staff, and my amazing husband... thank you all so much!!!

**squee!** it's finally happening! Tumblestone is going solar!!!

YAY!!! Finally got the column removed, and a brand new I beam installed to strengthen the roof!! This completely opened up the hay & wash rack area, and makes it safer to bring horses in :). Next up, new bluestone & mats on the floor to make it super pretty!

repurposing the round pen! so glad to have a true quarantine paddock. Got to get a little horsey house in there, post haste! :)

I love building things, especially when the hubby gets a snow day!! Cutest little haybox ever :)

The indoor wash rack is complete! Ponies are thoroughly enjoying hot showers, and I'm thrilled to give the boarders an essential amenity to enhance their experience here at the farm.
Many many huge thanks to Kelley Wachter for her multitude of ideas (and Gunsmoke for playing "will a horse fit here"), Mathew Adams for the concrete work, and our amazing plumber & electricians for getting it exactly how we envisioned. :)
And thank you to all our boarders for putting up with the construction and mess while we did the install! Enjoy, everyone!! :)

Another amazing clinic with Jackie in the books! The weather was pretty fantastic, everyone had great rides, and we're looking forward to having her again next month!! :) :)
