Unusual antiques, vintage furniture and old to***co & farm tools, along with crafts of local artists

07/16/2024

One day last month, a very sweet lady named Barbie Sutton left something in the shop. I found her on Facebook, but she doesn't accept messages, so I'm checking to see if you know her and can tell her to please return to my shop to get her things. They are important. Thanks for any help you can give.

In addition to the sewing machines, we also have these attachments and supplies, which will also be gone by May 1st. Look closely and see if any of these will work for you. The big blue rolls are thread. There are also bobbins, needles and button-holers.

Just until the end of April, we have these beautiful, refurbished sewing machines for sale at VERY reasonable prices. They were restored and guaranteed by a master repairman. Hurry to get yours before they are gone.

Our regular business hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 - 5. Closed on Sunday. I've tried to correct our hours many times, but still have people telling me it shows 6pm. Wish someone could show me how to correct it permanently.

09/27/2022

WE CLOSE AT 5PM! I've changed the hours 7 times and SAVEd, but it goes back to 6.

Some of our vendors have collected for a lifetime, so it takes a LOT of pictures to share what they have. Here are just some of this vendor's collection.

Did we mention that we have some gorgeous jewelry, too? Some old, some new, but all gorgeous. Try on some pretties. Come see for yourself.

Here is another featured booth. Each booth has a specialty and most are different. This one has so many beautiful treasures, from bottles to an antique washstand, and much in between. Come see what you like.

One of the great things about having this shop is the variety of vendors who have booths here. Posts for a while now will be featuring a different booth (I hope everyday). Today, it's the Tool Man! He has old tools, some of which you haven't seen since Grandpa's place. Look at the pictures and reminisce. Then come by and see them in person!

A talented local artist has such cute paintings in her booth. Come see!

Need a kitchen or dining room piece? Here is a beauty. It has shelving covered by glass doors, a large drawer AND storage below. Also, we have this very old china cabinet, like Grandma had. Many pieces are on sale, so come check us out.

Look at this really cool coffee table! It measures 54" x 30" and is truly unique. I don't think it will be here for long, as many are admiring it. Must see to appreciate!

Have you ever seen YELLOW depression glass? It's gorgeous! And we have a perfect condition Galle' vase, an antique powder horn and many stained glass pieces, made by a local artist.

We'll be featuring a few vendors' items at a time for a while, so you can see why you want to come visit us.

To kick out our slow season, we're having some serious sales on furniture and other items, so come on in and see what a great buy you can make. Beautiful Schrager wardrobe, retails for over $2000, but is on sale for $300, a set of 4 maple chairs by M. Reischmann & Sons Furniture of New York City, a set of 4 armchairs by Cochrane Furniture Co., a beautiful ivory Ladies' Chair, a cedar slab table and benches, made by a local artisan, and a Chippendale carved Love Seat, just to name a few. I hope to see you soon!

BREAKING NEWS! We will be open Monday, Valentine's Day 10-5! Come see us!

Woops, I marked it "sold" too soon, as it wouldn't fit in her space, so it's back on the market. This gorgeous vintage walnut Shrager Art Deco armoire/wardrobe from the 1950s measures 48" wide x 72" tall x 21" deep and was made in England. This piece retails around $2,000, but our price is $425. Must see to appreciate fully.

This Frank Duncan print is the only one I've seen of Pilot Mountain with a train passing by. Call for more details. The vintage chair is beautifully hand painted by a local artist. The picture of someone's grandma is in an antique gold frame. And who wouldn't want the vintage bride and groom topper for their special cake? Come in to see these and many more in person.😆

This is called a "Ladies Chair" because it is a smaller version, made for ladies. It is elegant and quite comfortable. Perfect for a sitting area in a bedroom or a reading nook.

This chess set is COWBOYS AND INDIANS! Beautifully painted, it's very colorful and truly unique.

Some normalcy has returned! Yay! For the next few days I'll be posting pictures of some of the really cool things our vendors have in the shop. I'm still tech-challenged, so bear with me.
