Green Hill High School FFA

Green Hill FFA traveled all the way to Indianapolis this week to attend the 97th National FFA Convention! Here are the highlights:

⭐️ Quiz Bowl placed 15th in the nation! Team members are: Emily Wright, Hazel Meadows, and Dane Bartruff! Congratulations girls!

⭐️National Service Project: Students traveled to Eagle Creek Park and worked with Living Land and Water to clear burning bush, an invasive species that impacts the parks native plants!

⭐️Chapter adventures including Rascal Fun Zone, Top Golf, Buc-ee’s, and Churchill Downs

⭐️Sessions & Expo

🌸Lily Boulineau was 1st highest individual in the region!
🌸 5th place overall in the region!

National Convention deposit money is due to Ms. Parker or Ms. Reames by 8:30 Monday morning.

Our students travelled to Cookeville today to participate in the TTU Fall Clinics to better prepare for their upcoming CDE’s! And of course stopped at Cane’s Chicken on the way home!

Due to the homecoming parade tomorrow morning, we will be postponing the Building Communities committee until next week!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the September chapter meeting! We had a blast making candy salad and playing dodgeball!

Congratulations to these kids on finishing 5th in the state out of almost 40 teams! Dane Bartruff was also 10th High Individual.

A big congratulations to the Reserve Champion Poultry Evaluation team today at the Murray State Invitational contest! Team members Emily Wright, Dane Bartruff, Ben Dineen and Andy Rosell have worked incredibly hard and are ready for our state FFA contest next week!
