A couple more days until the remnants of this winter storm are finally behind us. It’s been pretty, but pretty rough.

Winter has officially arrived here in middle Tennessee ❄️

We are getting antsy for Spring over here and can’t wait to start enjoying the upgraded sitting area and fire pit at the pond.

Taking a moment tonight to stop, appreciate, and soak up the bugs chirping, the frogs croaking, the fireflies blinking, the stars twinkling in the clear warm sky and the crescent moon glistening on the still, quiet pond. Before we know it, summer will be gone.

We’ve had a busy and HOT summer on our hands. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses. Or, in this case, stop and appreciate the beautiful sunrise and quiet calm of the early morning.

Don’t tell anyone I said this, but cold sunrises can be pretty too!

5.5 inches and counting. It’s a legit snow day! ❄️

And round two is upon us! We’ve already received two inches in the first hour and snow is expected to continue all day. The temps are going to drop into the single digits overnight, so the fluffbutt accommodations got an emergency “winterization”. Stay safe out there y’all!
