We had two amazing birthdays yesterday! 🎂
First, Christina gave Mr. B a wonderful birthday surprise—Mr. B was so happy! Along with Mr. B’s long-time caregiver, Richard, they all sat down, had a great chat, and made some cherished memories together!
But that wasn’t all! Christina then visited Mrs. G, where they celebrated her birthday with her caregiver, Sandra, and her housekeeper. Mrs. G enjoyed her favorite cupcake flavor with the group and shared all her birthday week festivities with Christina!

Somers, N.Y., resident Vincent McMahon can attest to how hard work and perseverance pays off. Prior to opening FirstLight Home Care in Mount Kisco, the Ireland native had spent the past 15 years working his way up the Wall Street ladder, becoming a senior vice president with a financial firm at the young age of 34. Although Vincent had a successful career under his belt, the long days and grueling commute required by his job was no longer something he could live with.
Wanting to find a career that not only allowed him to spend more time with his family but to also make a positive impact on the local community, Vincent left his Wall Street position behind. His first-hand experiences with providing care for his own aging grandparents when they lived with his family in Ireland, along with many neighbors and friends in the community, led him to the thriving in-home care industry and he found FirstLight Home Care to be a great fit.
As the economy forces people to consider and weigh all of the long-term care options available, Vincent intends to become a valuable resource for the elderly and others who might require assistance throughout the community. He’s looking forward to becoming a leader in non-medical care for the residents in Westchester County.
