Let’s look back to October 3, 1920, when the first ever NFL game was played by the then Dayton Triangles against the Columbus Panhandles 🏈From that historic kickoff in Dayton, Ohio, football has evolved into an iconic sport bringing us together for over a century🌟

Let's look back to December 23, 1972. During the AFC divisional playoff game of the NFL, Steelers quarterback, Terry Bradshaw, threw a pass to the Steelers running back John Fuqua, and the ball bounced off Oakland Raider, Jack Tatum's helmet. Steeler's fullback the late Franco Harris caught the ball and scored the game-winning touchdown.

Let's look back on January 27, 1991. On that day, the Super Bowl XXV was held in Tampa, Florida. The Giants defeated the Bills with a score of 20-19, which made this the closest game in Super bowl history. This game became the first and only Super Bowl decided by one point, and it all came down to Scott Norwood's 47-yard field goal in the final seconds of the game.

Let's look back on November 17, 1968. On this day, The Oakland Raiders defeated the New York Jets in the Heidi Game with a score of 43-32. The Jets were initially leading but then NBC changed the live broadcast and began to screen the film, "Heidi." This caused the viewers to miss the Raiders comeback at the end of the game. Now NBC makes sure all games stay on the television until it is finished.
Today we celebrate freedom.

Tom Nutten Earned His Super Bowl Ring Through Perseverance – NFL Alumni Nutten was born in Toledo but raised in Oelde, Germany. His family relocated to Montreal when he was a teenager. Nutten impressed on the offensive line when he attended Western Michigan University and the Bills took a chance on him in the last round of the 1995 Draft. He played one game in Buffalo.
Let’s look back to December 28, 1975. On that day, Roger Staubach coined the term “Hail Mary” after finding Drew Pearson downfield for the game winning score. When asked what he was thinking when he threw the ball, Staubach said “When I closed my eyes, I said a Hail Mary."
