Kaleigh has been a massage therapist for 16 years and a dedicated canine massage therapist since 2021. She has a deep understanding of canine anatomy, specializing in tailored touch therapy; alleviating tension, anxiety, and promoting mobility and overall well-being.

Kaleigh tailors each massage session to address the specific needs of all dog breeds, sizes, anxiety levels, and temperaments, ensuring that every furry client receives personalized care and attention.

With a compassionate approach and a commitment to excellence, she strives to enhance the quality of life for every dog she treats, earning the trust and gratitude of both pets and their owners alike.

❤️🐾Get to know our staff! Next up is our incredible groomer Shawna! 🐾❤️

Shawna began grooming dogs in 2022 when she and her husband adopted their first two Pomeranians. At that time, Shawna had been working as a registered nurse for 15 years. She took a giant leap of faith and took a step away from nursing to pursue a career in pet grooming and styling.

Shawna trained under one of the most experienced dog groomers in South Carolina.
She is highly skilled in even the most difficult grooming techniques including de-sheds, hand stripping, and hand sc******ng. She is also an AKC Certified S.A.F.E. Groomer.

Currently, Shawna lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

We want to send a huge thank you to our neighbors at 🐾❤️

You would never know by looking at her now, but 48 hours ago our little P**f gave us a huge scare. In the span of just a couple of hours she went from a happy playful puppy to having severe GI distress and needing urgent veterinary care. We owe a huge thank you to our friends at for springing to action with 10 minutes notice before regular business hours on Wednesday morning. The genuine concern the Safe Harbor team had for this little girl was so apparent. They ran countless tests, kept P**f stable, and updated Liz throughout the day on her status and what to expect and prepare for.

P**f baffled us all as all tests came back negative, her bloodwork and temperature were normal, and xrays and ultrasounds indicated a perfectly healthy puppy with nothing more than unexplained gastroenteritis. She is still in recovery but her spirit is back and she’s wearing her IV shave as a very tiny badge of honor. We will forever be thankful to our hugely skilled and empathetic friends next door for helping us out and treating our family as their own. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

🐾Get to know our staff!! First up is Liz, The Posh Pets amazing owner and lead groomer! 🐾

Liz has been grooming and showing dogs for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in both the show grooming and pet grooming world. Liz is an AKC Certified S.A.F.E. Groomer and is skilled in working with common skin and coat abnormalities.

Liz has a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School and practiced family law for 3 years. She left the field of law because it was not fulfilling and returned to her true passion, the world of grooming and showing dogs.

In 2018 Liz moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC with her husband where they currently live with their 5 dogs and 2 cats. On weekends Liz can be found in cities all over the USA showing her Pomeranians.
