Wrapping Up an Incredible 2024 Summer Camp! ☀️

This summer, we had the honor of serving 121 amazing kids over 13 weeks, providing 715 hours of childcare and sharing 9,250 healthy snacks to fuel their fun.

But the impact goes beyond the numbers. It’s about the memories made, the friendships formed, and the experiences that will last a lifetime. One parent shared with us: "Thank you so much for helping my child experience things he would never have gotten to experience without Y camp." These words remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you for an incredible summer! If you missed out this year, we’d love to have you join us next year. We can’t wait to see you then! 😊

The Racine Family YMCA expresses great sadness at the passing of County Executive Jonathan Delagrave. Jonathan served Racine County with dedication and distinction for the past nine years. Jonathan was a remarkable leader and a friend to many, including the Racine Family YMCA and those we serve. His visionary leadership, commitment to forging partnerships to benefit our region and passion for public service will be deeply missed.

Throughout his career, Jonathan demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to improving the lives of all residents in Racine County. A native of Racine, Jonathan began his career with Racine County in 2003, serving in several roles, most recently as Human Services Director before becoming Racine County Executive in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. A graduate of Racine Case High School, Jonathan earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Jonathan’s family, friends, and all who know him. We will forever by inspired by his legacy of compassion, integrity, and tireless advocacy on behalf of the people of Racine County.
