Cohen, invites individuals and couples to embark on a journey through their past, present and future. Gaining Neurological Intelligence® begins with an understanding of how our nervous system is formed and programmed, why it operates on repeating patterns, and how to change disempo
These kind words from my clients remind me why I do what I do. 💙 Thank you for your trust!
There’s no relationship more important than the one you have with yourself. Whether that means putting yourself on your calendar, setting an alarm, or writing ‘ME!’ on your to-do list, make the decision to spend time inwardly focused each day. These are a few tips to help you navigate getting to know yourself. 🤝
The 3 stages of life coaching:
👉🏼 Discovery
👉🏼 Clarity
👉🏼 Action
As a life coach there are few things as rewarding as holding your clients accountable so they finish these steps to achieve their custom, defined goals. 🙌🏼
What goals are you still longing to achieve? It’s never too late!
Be kind with your mind! Sounds easy right?! Not so much! Always remain mindful how you talk to yourself. ✋🏼 Ask yourself: is the narrative serving and honoring me or keeping me stuck? Try these 3 mindset shifts to help reshape the narrative 🙌🏼
Have you ever suddenly lost control in a disagreement and later wondered what happened? That’s reactivity! 💡ℹ️
The goal of focusing on reactivity is to help each person understand why and how we may be particularly reactive in certain instances. Self-awareness and understanding are key to our being able to react differently and better, to being able to break our repetitive patterns of responses.
People often feel lost, thinking they've lost themselves. This isn't true; they've just lost touch with their Mindful Empowered Leader within. Life experiences add layers of disempowering programming, causing a disconnect from our true selves. By shedding these layers with compassion, we can reconnect with our empowered selves, leading to freedom, honesty, and a peaceful state of being.
Here is your anchor of awareness for today!
Our nervous system is programmed by all that has come before us. Emotional wounds, unresolved feelings, and memories that leave us angry or more confused than ever before stay within us, affecting who we show ourselves to be.
I've written two books and have helped several on their journey to understanding what I call, the human operating system. Together, we can go through exercises that will allow you to heal and grow into the best version of yourself.

It's so confusing sometimes to be a girl, Charli XCX and Lorde sing on the remix of Girl, So Confusing from the new album brat.
Not just an album on partying and being young, Charli goes deep into a vulnerable side of her life, friendships, and identity. Songs like "I Might Say Something Stupid", "So I", "Sympathy is a Knife", and "Girl, So Confusing" aren't afraid to show Charli acknowledging emotional wounds, grief, and the trickier parts of healing from past trauma.
As you listen to brat, you'll find Charli honoring her BETTY (be enthusiastically true to you) by being honest about herself. Charli's music focuses much on the female experience, talking about disempowerment that comes from insecurities placed on young girls that can forever change them and affect their core identity cycle. Charli and Lorde, work out their differences, finding a common ground between them to heal from their separate past traumas to become better friends using what I call Dualistic Healing.
Finding the inner balance between our 365 party girl and our more vulnerable side is a journey we all must take to achieve our MEL (mindful empowered leader), the highest version of ourselves.
I'm here to guide you. Visit centerforni.com to book our first meeting, for free. There, you'll also find my books on Neurological Intelligence.

To truly know yourself, you have to get to know the parts of you that you might not always like. That is Neurological Intelligence. You will thank yourself and those around you will too.
Today's P.O.D.S. is The Comedian:
The Comedian uses humor to cope with unhealed trauma. They often use humor to self-depreciate, make jokes to avoid emotionally straining situations such as telling jokes at inappropriate times, avoiding responsibility, and using non-verbal expressions instead of speaking up.
Are you The Comedian?
What happens to us in the past can stay with us forever and find itself in the backseat of our relationships. My upcoming book is all about love relationships and how we can grow and heal together.

In order to truly heal, we have to take some time to really get to know ourselves. Identifying your triggers, what words you use when talking about your past, your attachment styles... so much more. Even in the most subtle ways, your experiences shape and mold you.
More to follow. Til then, my friends!
Inside Out (1 and 2) are great examples of the complexities of emotions within us. I've heard so many say, "I wish these came out when I was growing up." It's a great entryway into understanding Neurological Intelligence®!
As I always say, "It's not what happens to you, it's what happens within you!"
It can only take one moment in our lives that sets us on the course of disempowered thinking that shapes our internal monologue and thus changes our whole lives. Those that knew us before may not recognize us and we may pull away from them in general, believing that support system isn't really a support system.
Though, maybe they truly weren't after all.
But we can heal. For years, I worked on my own healing. I figured out what worked for me and set myself on a path to healing. For many years, I've been helping others on their own healing journey. Sometimes all we need is a steady, helping hand to guide us through these tough moments in life, moments that even come back during the healing process. Let me be that guide.
