Trying something else new this summer. I’ve never been the least but interested in Star Wars, Star Trek, or anything Sci fi. This summer I’ve been playing piano for the Mt Pleasant Chamber Orchestra and tonight was our summer Concert. All the music was from Star Wars and Star Trek and to my surprise, I enjoyed the music.

The word is getting out, so we may as well make it public. Mrs. Nan Verner will be joining the faculty at Mt. Pleasant MUSIC Studio this fall, as a vocal instructor. She will be teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting mid August. Now is the time to sign up for voice lessons!!

I am SO very proud of this girl!! Congratulations Josi Simmons. One of the most talented students that has ever come through Mt. Pleasant MUSIC Studio. She is furthering her education at THE best place, East Texas Baptist University and majoring in Music Education.

I went to The Hill again tonight. This time I just got to sit and watch. I listened to some awesome 4th and 5th graders perform and got to hear several of our own Mt. Pleasant MUSIC Studio students perform. I got to see my good friend Tosh, in his element. Let me tell you something about Mr. Michael Tosh. He blooms, motivates, teaches, inspires and blossoms, where EVER he is planted!!
