Construction is scheduled to begin next week, this may cause traffic delays on IL 83. The contractor will start with saw cutting and concrete work. Residents are advised to use an alternate route to enter downtown instead of Busse Avenue. Lane closures on IL 83 will occur between 9 AM and 3 PM. At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Access to businesses will remain throughout the project. Temporary ramps will be installed as needed.
