The theme for the month at The Flower Challenge blog is ‘use scraps’. I used alcohol ink background scraps to die cut the flowers for my card.

I've been practicing watercoloring flowers. Sometimes I like the result but most of the time I don't! However, I do like how this one turned out. The image is from a rubber stamp I picked up from a craft rummage sale.

I’m building up my Holiday card stash. These were incredibly fun and easy to put together!

It took me a few tries to get the ink blended background right for this one but it was worth it!

I wasn’t too sure when I started coloring these fall themed florals but I love how these turned out eventually!

I took a break from my usual pink and purple florals for some blues and yellows.

It’s new release day Crafty Meraki. My cards for today feature the Birthday Bouquet stamp set designed by the very talented Emily Midgett. It’s a gorgeous large floral stamp which I stamped and watercolored on a letter size piece of watercolor cardstock and cut up to create 4 cards.

I need to get started on my Holiday cards but I can't seem to get enough of watercoloring flowers! Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Enjoy today. Focus on the good. I’ve tried to paint a sunflower field at sunset, not sure if it looks like it though. Have a great Wednesday my dear crafty friends!

It's amazing what toddlers can achieve in a split second, my 3-year-old somehow got hold of this when I stepped away for a bit and smeared concentrated watercolor over some area. I was so distraught but my older daughter suggested I salvage the piece by spreading the color and creating a background. I must say I do like how it turned out in the end! Happy Friday everyone!

I was inspired by a beautiful card shared by Karen Dunbrook to create these fall cards. I used ferns and maple leaves from my neighborhood to create these.
