Midweek Minute June 19 2024 A quick look at the week ahead in the life of Mundelein Nazarene w/ Pastor Ryan Welshans

Congrats to Pastor Ryan Eric Welshans who was installed today as the new pastor of our Mundelein Church! We are hope-filled for the days ahead under his leadership.

As the Welshans family come to mind in the coming weeks and months, lift up Ryan, Leslie, Jacob, Noah, Avery, and Asher in your prayers. Excited for the future of this great church!

We are praying for Dr. Kurt Flemming! Kurt has taken on the role as Principal of Westlake Christian Academy, he also happens to be a long time member and pastoral leader at Mundelein Naz. We love Kurt, Vickie, Aaron, Abby, and Ben. We are praying for him and his leadership in our community!

Midweek Minute June 5 2024 A quick look at the week ahead in life of Mundelein Nazarene w/ Pastor Ryan Welshans

Today marked 20 years in Mundelein, and it was our last Sunday. We are so blessed to have worked with these friends. The Church was very kind to us as we left. One of the gifts was a 1956 Jackie Robinson baseball card! We move on to the next phase but are so grateful for these past 20 years. I am reminded of Psalms 166, "the boundary lines for me have fallen in pleasant places."

🍽️ Our Packed Out Sunday at Nikko’s after church was a great time to connect!

❤️ Thanks to all those who donated towards helping those impacted by the tornado this week, we’ll be collecting next Sunday too!

TONIGHT @ 7pm
We’ll be joining Gracepoint Church (our neighboring church family) at 32 Washington Blvd in front of the apartments impacted by the tornado to pray for the families impacted. I know this is last second, but if you can join us please come!

Also …
We are going to be collecting items that are immediately needed to help these families (which includes kids of all ages). There will be a donation spot in the Welcome Center this Sunday! Items needed are in the attached picture or listed here below:

-Gift cards to places like Walmart, Target, Aldi and Jewel.
-Non-perishable foods
-Toiletries

We are praying for all those impacted and displaced from the storm damage last night! We are also looking for ways to help, so stay tuned.
