The 10-year-old who was swept by flood waters into a storm drain in Rutherfird County, TN about a week and a half ago died over the weekend.
Dr. Jimmy Sullivan today posted this photo of his son at the Rialto Bridge in Venice from this past March.
He wrote: “I will live my life to make sure this amazing kid is never forgotten and that his spirit lives on.”
The family decided that Asher would be an anatomical donor to help others.
His father added:
“Today we had our honor walk and walked Asher to the OR elevators to begin organ donation.
We’ve been notified he saved four lives.”
YES, FOUR LIVES.
Some good out of a horrible tragedy as this family deals with the loss of a child with incredible grace and dignity.
ASHER WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN AND LIVE ON THROUGH THE LIVES HE SAVED.

Remembering a Boy Scout who died helping his family

Boy Scout Clifton Braunwalder, 13, was changing a flat tire on the family car when a drugged driver struck him and killed him April 10, 2014 on Interstate 24 near Sam Ridley Parkway.

To honor his memory, the Smyrna Police Department is conducting a sobriety checkpoint with Rutherford County Traffic Safety Task Force from 10 p.m. to midnight Friday on Sam Ridley Parkway near the Cracker Barrel.

Clifton’s family is scheduled to attend the checkpoint in his memory.
