Celebrating 6 years (7/29) this week as a birth doula fills me with immense gratitude and pride. Each day in this career has deepened my love for supporting families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.

Being a birth doula is more than just a job; it’s a calling that allows me to witness the strength and beauty of childbirth. I am continually inspired by the resilience and courage of my clients. It is an honor to be entrusted with guiding them through their pregnancy and birth journey, offering support, comfort, and knowledge.

I am profoundly grateful to my clients not only for choosing me to be a part of such a significant moment in their lives but also for their generous referrals. Their confidence in my services and their willingness to recommend me to other pregnant people is the highest compliment I could receive. These referrals have allowed me to build a community of support and empowerment, spreading the message of compassionate, personalized care.

As of this week, I have attended 160 births as a doula! Thank you to every family who has welcomed me into their birth space, and to those who continue to trust me with this sacred role. Your faith in my abilities and your ongoing support mean the world to me. Here’s to many more years of guiding and celebrating new beginnings together.

I love to get my clients out of the house for some self time. This lunch prenatal visit at Panera bread with my repeat client was perfect! We both got to eat & talk birth.
