This Memorial Day weekend was an adventure!
We set up our booth, faced a wild storm, and huddled under our canopy as rain poured in.
But we stayed focused, kept our well-being in check, and came out stronger. ๐ง๏ธโก
The sun returned, bringing with it amazing customers and wonderful stories about our therapy jewelry.
Sales soared, and our spirits did too!

When I look back on my energy level in my 30โs compared to my 40โs and early 50's, it was night and day.
I felt emotionally drained, stressed, and disconnected. Others saw success, but inside, stress levels soared, and I felt pressured to keep up appearances.

โ I felt that if I didn't exceed expectations and excell in my work, others would see me as incompetent or "not a team player".
โ Even when I had reached great heights, it somehow never felt good enough. The constant pressure to was overwhelming.

IT FELT CONFINING.
I started - doing the bare minimum.
I limited my social life and outside activities.

It had been captured by my "performance-based" mindset.
In my mid-50's, I waa at my wits end.

If you had a checklist that could help you thrive every day, how would you incorporate it into your daily routine?
I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that for many of us, this time of year can be difficult when we're dealing with GRIEF. Whether it's the loss of a loved one, a change in our circumstances, or simply the stress of the season, it can be a challenging time.
During times of grief, it's natural to seek comfort and support.
As a source of solace, I find strength in God's word, which reminds us of His love and promises.
Throughout my life, I have faced a range of GRIEF that many others can relate to. I navigated the challenges of an unstable relationship, walked through the pain of divorce, and faced the heart-wrenching news that my son had committed a crime and would be incarcerated for an extended period of time.
In addition to these personal trials, I also experienced the loss of my dad and the untimely deaths of two siblings in their 50s.
These moments tested my strength and resilience in ways I never imagined.
Amidst the storms of GRIEF, I found solace in God's words, prayer, and quiet time๐๐ผ.
His offer of comfort and reassurance became my anchor, reminding me that He is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Even in the darkest times, God's love and grace sustain us and guide us through every season of sorrow.
I want to let you know that you are not alone in your feelings, and that it's okay to take time for yourself to process your emotions. It's important to remember that GRIEF is a personal journey, and there is no right or wrong way to feel or cope.
I hope that during this season, you find moments of peace and comfort, and that you feel SURROUNDED by the love and support of those around you.

Navigating Life's Cold Fronts
As we journey through life's unpredictable seasons, there are moments when the "temperature" of our existence takes a sudden plunge.
Much like a cold front sweeping through, these shifts can profoundly impact our motivation, happiness, health, and relationships with those around us.
Imagine walking your dog๐โ๐ฆบ on a frosty morning like today~ 28 degrees. The air is crisp and biting. (Fortunately, Teddy does his duty rather quickly on these chilly mornings.)
Similarly, when our inner world experiences a drop in motivation, everything can feel a bit colder, heavier, maybe some bitterness creeping in, too.
Tasks that once seemed easy now require extra effort.
Goals dim in the face of adversity.
Each step forward feels like a battle against the icy winds of doubt and uncertainty.
The chill of disappointment or setback can seep into our hearts, casting shadows of doubt and insecurity.
We may question our abilities, our decisions, and even our worth.
