Dear thief,

Creating artwork and seeing the happy faces of our customers, are the two most rewarding aspects of our work.
Since you decided to visit our gallery after midnight very early this morning, you robbed us not only of the sculptures but also of the opportunity of seeing your appreciation and we were not able to provide you with all the information and care instructions for the pieces you chose. However, we won't let you rob us twice, so here we go:
🐻 The 2 1/2 ft waving bear you took was carved out of local pine. Instead of painting it black, we burnt the fur to create a lovely array of brown tones. We varnished the bear with two layers of spar urethane to protect it from the elements. If you decide to display the bear in full sun, you might have to renew the varnish every year.
The fly agaric mushroom you took is a lovely addition to the waving bear and we are confident that you will get many compliments for your new decor.

Some of you might have already met our big hiking bear. 🐻☺️
Well, one customer fell in love with him and asked Chill to create a smaller version. Before he hiked to his new home, we were able to get this cute picture of the two. Btw, our big hiking bear is still looking for a home, so if you can move him, we will let him go for $2000.

What is more adorable than a bear cub? A bear bear cub with a sibling!! May I introduce our Best Buddies line... Two bear brothers up to no good, trying to steal honey, and once they are older, they are making friends with the local wildlife. 😊 Enjoy!

The first custom bear of 2024 is finished 🥳! His new parents brought us the lantern they wanted him to hold and Chill simply carved the bear around it.😂

We used the cold month of January to kick back, regenerate, and plan future projects. 😌
It was a quiet month and we didn't have many visitors showing up during freezing temperatures.🥶
However, one visitor did not only stop to take pictures, he also took the time to chat with Chill.
Turns out he works for WUNC public radio and spontaneously decided to include Chill-A-While Chainsaw Carving in a segment about Murphy. 😃
