Refinishing or refurnishing a classic, statement furniture piece is a fantastic way to add character and uniqueness to your interior design.
By sanding down a dated dresser, applying a fresh coat of paint or stain, and updating the hardware, you can transform a tired piece into a striking statement. Changing out the fabric of upholstered furniture is also a great way to update. Consider adding modern elements like bold colors or geometric patterns to blend old-world charm with contemporary style. This not only breathes new life into the furniture but also creates a one-of-a-kind piece that tells a story and stands out in your home.
Seeking the perfect home to cultivate your interior design dreams? Let's discuss your wish list.
Organizing your home can make an incredible difference in how it feels and functions.
Some of my favorite tips for different areas include...
Kitchen: Use baskets and bins to keep your pantry tidy and easy to navigate. Label containers so you can quickly find what you need. Utilize vertical space with shelf risers and hooks.
Living Room: Invest in furniture with built-in storage, like ottomans or coffee tables with hidden compartments. Use baskets to corral remotes and other small items.
Bedroom: Keep your closet organized with a combination of hanging storage, shelves, and drawers. Consider a storage bench at the foot of the bed for out-of-season clothing or extra linens, it can double as seating.
Bathroom: Maximize cabinet space with tiered organizers. Use clear containers to store toiletries, making them easy to find. Install hooks for robes and towel bars for towels for proper post shower drying.
Home Office: Use a filing system for important documents, or better yet, organize files electronically. Desk organizers will keep your workspace clutter-free. Consider a corkboard for creative inspiration on the wall for visual interest.

Making your home energy-efficient and eco-friendly is easier than you might think and can save you money while helping the environment.
Start by upgrading your insulation—attics, walls, and floors are great places to focus on. Energy-efficient windows and smart thermostats are fantastic investments, reducing energy loss and optimizing your heating and cooling. POV: It's the middle of the summer and the kids have been out of school for what feels like forever. Let's do a little something for the dogs... and the kids can get involved too!
First... why throw a summer puppy party? Well for thing, the dog never throws that backchat like your kids do. Celebrate your furry ride or die! But it's also a great excuse to network and reconnect with friends and neighbors. Plus, kids and dogs go right to sleep when they're tired.
My best tips for a fun summer outdoor pup party are (all these things can be made kid friendly too!):
Do's:
• Pupcakes: Think sugar free peanut butter or carrot cake mini cup cakes.
• Puppy Ice cream: Fill a cooler with pup ice cream, easy to find at any grocery store in the ice cream section.
• Kiddie pool(s) for cooling down: Jut remember, claws will pop an inflatable pool, but a hard plastic shell pool will allow water dogs to lounge and stay cool.
Don'ts:
• Low tables: Human treats should be on higher tables to avoid wagging tails and curious noses.
• Fireworks: Obviously.
Is your pet the center of your universe? it would be my privilege to help you find the perfect property for you and your animals.
Ensuring the longevity of herbs and produce in your fridge is key to minimizing waste and maximizing freshness.
Start by cleaning fruits and veggies upon arrival home from the market, making them readily available to enjoy. To preserve leafy herbs like cilantro, mint, and parsley, store them in glass jars with water in the fridge, ensuring they remain hydrated and crisp. Similarly, green onions thrive when stored upright in water-filled jars. For bananas, peel ripe ones before they overripen and freeze them for future smoothies, eliminating the need for added ice. Additionally, consider storing mushrooms in a paper bag to maintain freshness, and wrap lettuce in paper towels to absorb excess moisture and prevent wilting.
By implementing these simple tips, you'll extend the lifespan of your herbs and produce, reducing waste and enhancing your culinary endeavors. Seeking your dream kitchen? I can help with that.
Food just tastes better when you dine outside.
A balmy summer evening, a gentle breeze, a table graced with fresh linens, flickering candlelight (real or battery powered), and vibrant floral centerpieces... It's the perfect way to kick off dining al fresco. Consider light and refreshing dishes like grilled seafood with citrus-infused salads, accompanied by chilled white wine or sparkling lemonade. Further elevate the ambiance with string lights and the sounds of nature.
Sensible with high design is the ideal blend when choosing outdoor furniture. Think indoor living, outdoors.

The art of grilling pizza... Yes, grilling pizza is a thing!
The trick is to cook the plain dough first, on one side, on the grill. Then remove it, flip it, brush the grilled side with sauce and toppings (certain meats must be precooked), and return the pizza to the grill for final cooking. The result is an amazing sort of wood fired oven concept.
Pizza and pool party? Yes please! If you are seeking the ideal summer kitchen and pool home, call me. And if we need to sell your current property, we can do that too.
Ah, the illustrious lemon... It's summer in citrus form!
There is so much you can do with lemons, here are some of my favorites...
1. Make a Lemon Centerpiece: Find an aesthetically pleasing bowl, blue and white is timeless and offers really nice contrast, fill with lemons and perhaps some greenery from outside to create a fresh centerpiece for the dining table or even just an anchor on your kitchen counter.
2. Cook with Lemons: Chicken is fantastic with lemon or lemon butter, think Chicken Française or Piccata. Freshly caught fish or authentic crab cakes are excellent with a generous squeeze of lemon.
3. Make Lemon Squares: Light and summery, with eggs or without, Lemon Squares are the perfect blend of tart and shortbread. Perfect for a summer garden party!
4. Clean with Lemons: From sanitizing your garbage disposal to treating stubborn stains, lemons are ideal for a natural cleaning method.
5. Grow a Lemon Tree: Collect the seeds and grow a lemon tree out in the yard or in a stylish planter for a unique bonsai tree.
6. And of course... Squeeze for Fresh Lemonade! Blend 1 cup water, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, mix well. Add 3 additional cups water and a pinch of salt. There you have it!
What's your favorite way to use lemons at home?

3. Expedited Sale: A well-informed listing price results in a quicker sale, minimizing hassle for sellers.
A meticulously conducted CMA provides insights into market trends, enabling informed decisions regarding pricing strategy and successful real estate transactions. Let's discuss listing your home.

Revitalize your bedroom oasis by evating comfort and luxury with indulgent Egyptian cotton sheets, renowned for their unparalleled softness and durability. Opt for high thread count bedding to enhance the lavish feel.
Transform the ambiance with new drapes, selecting from a spectrum of fabrics and designs to complement your aesthetic. Introduce a splash of color or opt for serene neutrals to harmonize with your space. Consider blackout shades if you are extra sensitive to light or perhaps if your room faces east towards sunrise.
Refresh the walls with a new coat of paint, breathing life into the space with hues that reflect your personality. Soothing pastels and neutrals lend to the tranquility a bedroom should embrace.
Illuminate your sanctuary with new lamps, strategically placed to create ambiance and functionality. Choose from sleek modern designs or vintage-inspired pieces to add character to your space.

• For the ultimate relaxation spot, consider a pool lounging space, where plush loungers and swaying palms create a resort-like atmosphere, complete with mini fridge for frosty drinks.
