Y’all watch out for Portuguese man o' war washing ashore. Andrew Moss captured this image in Pawleys Island. I know they can deliver a very painful sting, but they sure are beautiful!
For those that may be swimming, below the floating colorful bubble are several long tentacles that can measure 15-25 feet in length. If you see one floating in the water or lying on the sand, give it plenty of room! They can still sting long after they come ashore! Find Andy on Twitter
