Repost @noco.fit4mom Come me join us, we will show you how! Everyone figures it out as they go, but here are some tips to give you a head start at your first class: 1️⃣S N A C K S!! If your baby is too little for snacks, then bring chewy toys, sensory toys, vibrating toys, noisy toys. Whatever it takes! Which also leads me to my next tip ⬇️ 2️⃣ Distractions. Your kiddo may be totally entertained by what’s going on around them. There are a lot of distractions built into our classes. But stroller toys are also a great distraction. Pro tip: don’t pull them all out at once. Keep one toy going as long as possibly interesting. Then move on to the next toy. Or book. Or Velcro game. Or fine motor toy. And then there’s always those snacks again. 3️⃣ Dress kiddo for the weather! Nothing makes baby cranky like feeling too hot or too cold. Blankets are easier than jackets to take off and put on as temps change. Hats and mittens are easy adjustments. In the summer, a stroller fan and misting bottle are great cooling tools for kiddo. 4️⃣ Movement and Position. This one is also built into class! We move from station to station so your baby gets movement in the stroller. At each station, we vary how the strollers are set up so their viewpoint changes. While stopped, you can bounce/jiggle the stroller a little, push it back and forth a little with one hand. Playing games involving high 5’s and tickles all count towards baby movement. Position changes within the stroller can also help (think recline vs upright) 5️⃣Baby-wearing. Because depending on the kiddo, sometimes (ok, a lot of times) they just reach their limit in that seat before your workout is over. Our instructors can help you with your baby carrier and provide modified exercises that are safe around your extra cargo. You still get a good workout! Bonus tip 6️⃣ is P R A C T I C E!!
