We learn that succulents make wonderful gifts and can handle alot of handling...

School is back in session and our ATP friends are back. We have missed them.
Fall is just around the corner, so we are seeing our pumpkins ripening. Don't forget our craft faire coming up in October.

Just us looking for the peach trees. Thank you Joe for bringing our first peach crop to fruition..literally. and Addison has such a great sense of initiative. He washed out our ice chest..thank you Addison.

Under the trees we learned about friends and foes of the farm...shell ladybugs are definitely friends.

When you are a farm person, it doesn't matter how hot it is, you just want get your hands dirty. Gloria wakes up really early in the summer and starts working at the farm even before the sun wakes up. Our helpers picked almost 200 lbs of tomatillos, squash, tomatoes, beans, and eggplants. We even practiced a little bit of Spanish.

Salsa day thanks to our job coach Marisela! Totally delicious...freshness is everything..tomatillos and tomatoes at their finest and ripest. Like Marisela said...it's all about fresh and flavor. We loved it!!!

137 lbs of delicious tomatoes, tomatillos, squash, and, zucchini were delivered to Community Food Pantry of Murrieta.

Thank you to Gina Maggiano for bringing the "under the sea" to our friends today.

We harvested 164 lbs of squash, zucchini, lemon cucumbers, and lots of tomatoes. Thank you Gloria for helping us with all the picking.
The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta serves almost 3000 families coming in to get their weekly food. Cultivating Inclusion helps feed the community by donating weekly to local pantries in the Valley. Help support our mission.

The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta was our Monday recipient today.
Terrence was our rock star worker. He was an inspiration to all. He worked with a smile. He uses a walker, but he wanted to be independent and do everything without assistance. What an amazing young man.

Happy Monday everyone!!! Today was all about life skills for our visitors. We are so lucky to have amazing volunteers to help our friends from several day programs in the community.
We chopped down weeds, watered the plants, harvested zucchinis, squash, lemon cucumbers, and cucumbers. Our friends weighed and calculated the amount of produce we gathered. The Community Food Pantry in Murrieta received our organic, pesticide free produce. They may not look like the perfect vegetables, but they are the freshest food you will find in town.
Developing social skills is also an aspect that gets to develop amongst our visitors.
