It was a great day for a Safety City tour yesterday! 🚓
I'm still having a hard time believing I'm posting this, but it is with devastating sadness that we announce the passing of Retired Captain Craig "Simi" Simuncak. After a long, well fought battle with cancer, Captain Simuncak was called home by his Lord and Savior last Friday. Captain Simuncak began his career with the Muskego Police Department in October of 1992, quickly rising through the ranks of patrol officer, to sergeant (2001), lieutenant (2003), detective lieutenant (2015), and finally Captain (2017) where he served until his retirement in January of 2023, becoming 2nd in command. He was a member of the department's SWAT team from 1994-2012, last holding the position of Team Leader. He also served as a field training officer, DAAT Instructor, Fi****ms Instructor, Training Coordinator, Boat Patrol Supervisor, Range Master, Fleet Manager, Background Investigator, and Evidence Custodian. A storied career to say the least. He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Loree of nearly 31 years, as well as a proud and loving father to his son Stephen. Musky fishing was his passion and hobby, never missing an opportunity to share a fish story about taking the pontoon out on Boom Lake up in Rhinelander. He loved a good old fashioned from Pine Harbor Bar and better company. His influence on our department will live on for years to come, which is what makes saying goodbye so difficult. I can personally say that I may not have ever made it to the Muskego Police Department without him and for that, I am eternally grateful. I'm sure we all have our Captain "Simi" stories, so I would invite you to share yours in the comments below. Rest in peace, Captain. We've got your six and will take it from here.

This little lady looks like she had a bit of a rough go. Still cute as a button when she was spotted trotting along Tess Corners Dr./College Ave.! Just looking for her hoomans and to go home for a warm bath and some food. You know what to do. 262.679.4130 🐾
I met Amy, a proud Muskego resident, when she first approached me about initiating a Tunnels to Towers 5K Charitable Walk/Run in Muskego. This foundation looks after the families of fallen first responders and aids the homeless veteran population. Amy has a heart for giving and taking care of those in our Blue Family. Now we'd like to help take care of her family. Please consider making a donation. Any amount will help the Nowak Family as they navigate this difficult time. They appreciate your prayers and consideration! 🙏
Donate to Help Brian and Amy Win this Battle, organized by Sarah Liebenthal My name is Sarah Liebenthal (along with Lori Anderson and all the families). I nev… Sarah Liebenthal needs your support for Help Brian and Amy Win this Battle
You don't really want to miss out on this much fun, do you? The day begins with a 5K run/walk (sweet commemorative T-Shirt included for registered participants), followed by carbohydrate replacement therapy in the form of a pancake breakfast, and topped off with a co****le tourney complimented by a DJ, food trucks, and raffle prizes!

CANNOT say enough great things about this organization! In many ways, I question where we would be as a department without them, and on top of that, they make us extremely tasty food.🤤 A special thanks to the Alumni Association Board members for making this shindig possible. Definitely feeling the love! And ah yes, the irony of a pig roast being held at a police department. Thank you House of Pain. 🙄
***NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2024***
As a father of two small children, I can only imagine the amount of anxiety the thought of losing this has given its owner. Found at Veterans Park, it is now at the police department. So, if it’s yours, we’ll be standing by! 👶🍼
Another BIG thanks to these fine folks, the Bhatti's, for their extreme generosity! Annually, they donate to the police department, always shying away from recognition, simply wanting to say thank you. Well, we're thankful for them and always enjoy the smiles we're greeted with when we walk through their doors. We're honored to work in a city with business owners like them. 😊
***HOOMANS LOCATED***
Anyone missing this mean muggin’ pooch? Located trottin’ along Kelsey Drive near 164. You know what to do. 262.679.4130 🐾
**owner found**
This poor pooch was found wandering around Martin Dr. and Southern Dr. last night while all the bombs were bursting in air. We’re currently hanging out in the DPW kennels. If you know where their hoomans are, you know what to do! 🐾 262.679.4130
Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸 We love ya! And a safe and happy 4th from all of us to all of you!
Just gonna leave this right here. The dispatchers (and I) thank you. Preciate ya Kenosha County Sheriff's Department 😁

***NOTICE***
If these two don’t spell trouble, I don’t know what does! Caught roaming Idle Isle hooman-less and having a grand ole time. If you know where and to whom they belong, you know what to do! 262.679.4104 🐾

***ARMED ROBBERY***
Facebook family, we are again reaching out, seeking your assistance in identifying the pictured subject and vehicle. On Saturday, 06/22/2024, at approximately 8:36 p.m., the pictured male subject entered the Muskego Walmart store, walked to the customer service counter, displayed a firearm, and forced an employee to unwillingly hand over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen entering the pictured vehicle and exiting the Walmart parking lot. If you recognize this subject, or were inside the store when the robbery occurred and recall seeing this person, please contact Detective Sullivan at (262) 679-4130.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP TO OUR OFFICE FOR YOUR RAFFLE, MEAT OR AUCTION ITEMS UNTIL CALLED OR THE POST GOES UP.
We are VERY busy, and there is A LOT of organization to do to ensure everything is accurate. All of the storm damage in Lake Geneva/Williams Bay Saturday that produced a 14hr work day yesterday didn't help for organizing the winners. Rest assured, we ARE trying, but this is all on top of our general 70hr + work week.
If you walk into our office on a Monday morning during business hours to see if you won anything, that means you're "available" and you likely just signed yourself up to volunteer to help get all baskets from the Muskego Moose Lodge to our office, double check ALL winners, then call over 100 people to arrange pick-up times. 😎
Thank you for your patience! If you have a serious interest in volunteering and you are known as an organized person... please email our office right away.

🌮 or 🐄🐖🐓, tacos or BBQ 🤔 Can’t decide what to do for dinner tonight? Come out to the Moose Lodge and you don’t have to choose! Have both while listening to live music from THE Lunchmoney Bullies (indoors) and playing for the chance to win some awesome prizes! Brought to you courtesy of Making the Cut Tree Service! Stay dry, skip the Summerfest crowds and prices, and come on out for a laid-back summer evening you won’t regret! See 🫵 soon!
Just had a “few” tour takers yesterday from the Discovery Days Summer Camp. Want to thank Miss Cari and Miss Tammy(locked up in the back seat 😂) for bringing the crew by. Stop back any time!
***SUSPECT IDENTIFIED***
Thank you Facebook Fam!
Mornin' and happy Friday, Muskego! I could use your help identifying the woman pictured below. She apparently thought it was "everything is free day" at Walmart, filled up her cart, and walked out the door without paying. Walmart would like their money, and we'd like to talk to her about her choice of made-up holidays, maybe give her a free piece of paper or two. (262) 679-4130, you know what to do!
A good few days to be out patrolling the high seas of Muskego! 🥵🌊🚤 Stay cool, stay hydrated, and don’t leave your fur babies in parked cars.
Check out Making the Cut Tree Service - MTC TREE page for a running list of all the items they plan on auctioning off this Saturday. Some of them…🤯 Skip the huge crowds at Summerfest, stay local, grab some food, and enjoy the show!
