Lucys legacies dog training, and pet sitting

With a heart full of joy and a dash of sadness, I faced a bittersweet moment when I decided to let Birdie find her forever home. Surrendered to me after an injury ended her service dog career, I nursed her back to health and discovered she had a new purpose - to be a psychiatric service dog. When Michael, a veteran in need of a service dog, reached out to me, I knew it was meant to be. Though it was hard to say goodbye, I knew Birdie would thrive in her new role and bring joy to Michael. She will be deeply missed, but I take comfort in knowing she's living her best life, spoiled and loved, doing what she was meant to do.

Bertie was cleared by the vet too go back into service work for psychiatric purposes 

Hi, are you looking for a dog sitter for your summer vacation? My name is Bree and I am offering my services for pet sitting drop ins starting at $50 a night! I’ll come hang out with your babies, feed them, play with them, and etc. I am not able to do overnight stays as I have my own fur babies that I need to get back to, however I can assure you that your furry loved ones will be in good hands! I am a licensed veterinarian assistant and a shelter attendant at the Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch. I am also a dog trainer and have my own personal dogs and cats. She made it through surgery just fine, for anybody That was wondering!! She is now able to go to daycare with Marvel in about two weeks after and she’s all healed up. Right now she’s just pouting and knocking crap over with her cone.
She is also still a little drugged up 🤣

Got an update from Birdies mom she’s doing absolutely amazing with no complaints. We have our first training FaceTime video on Sunday and I’m just super excited that she’s being the good girl. I am so glad birdie is with her mom and that her training is paying off. If you guys are interested in a service animal for your disability. come to my page and message me. Her mom also reported that she did absolutely amazing in the 11 hour car ride home and can entertain herself with just a little orange ball which I knew this. Ha ha ha ha

Lucy ‘s legacy was founded when I picked out my first heart dog from the shelter. Her name was Lucy. It was love at first sight, all the way down to the fact she was already named Lucy.(growing up I had no friends, so I had an imaginary friend name, Lucy) I knew she was my dog before I knew her name tho. But when I was told it was Lucy I already knew she coming home with me. Lucy became my world, my lifeline! At  around five years old, Lucy was diagnosed with stage four cancer lymphoma. She passed away on my arms on a breezy spring day with me, saying the words “you can go. I’ll be OK”. I carry on Lucy ‘s legacy through each dog that I train. She’s the one that inspired my passion, Drive, and love for training and caring for dogs, or just animals in general. Lucy lives on through my passion and every dog that I train!
