I am learning that I have a right to take up space, to take the time to feel and process any and all feelings. And in order to do that I am reparenting my inner child so that she knows that she is safe. This requires for me to be mindful of the patterns and programs that tell me differently. This is deep inner work and I couldn’t be more grateful for walks on the beach that remind me to breathe, slow it down, and surrender to what arises. Trusting that these are only temporary moments of feeling and experiencing pain and in due time, the light will come back through the clouds. The balance of dark and light. Nature is my happy place! 🌳❤️🌳 When I take even the smallest increments of time to connect with nature, my mood shifts. My breath becomes deeper, my energy begins to settle, and my mind begins to slow down. The benefits of spending time in nature are immediate and long lasting. This morning I was feeling all the New Years resolutions and the expectations that I have for myself to be better. I was gently reminded in meditation and connection to my divine team that I am perfect as I am. I thought others might need these reminders as well. We are all whole and worthy just as we are. When we can love ourselves where we are and accept our lives as they are, we can find that inner peace from within and realize we really do have all the answers we seek. I met my future self earlier this week. And she shared a message that stuck with me. She said every time you choose you, you are getting closer and closer to your highest timeline. This experience caused a total shift in my outlook on my life. Throughout my healing & reiki journey, I have been learning to put my needs first, to fill up my cup, and do the things that cultivate joy. However, I have noticed that I can get caught up in the rat race, the people pleasing patterns, and worrying about what other people think. And I have to stop and remind myself to breathe and remember to choose me. Thank you to my future self for reminding me of this!! Today, I chose me by giving myself the freedom to create with no expectations or pressure. I cut up a painting 🖼️ and transformed it into something new. I’m not sure 🤔 if it’s done yet? But that doesn’t matter.
