Governor Haley has signed a bill providing that contractors' CGL policies cover damages caused by faulty construction. This effectively reverses a prior decision of the SC Supreme Court which provided otherwise.

The SC House reconsidered and approved the tax exemption for Amazon. While the issue has been controversial, the move does promise jobs for South Carolinians - which is a good thing. Everyone should support local businesses whenever they are shopping in the area. If everyone keeps in mind the import of local businesses, Amazon can be welcomed to SC's corporate community.
