I keep mentioning to friends how impressed I am that my old, refurbished MacBook Pro is still going strong, despite warnings to upgrade it, etc. (All the latest Adobe Creative Suite software updates, etc., keep working!) I just realized today that it is TEN YEARS OLD! Amazing. (Hope I didn't just brag-jinx it!)

I'm curious...okay, and a little obsessed... When working with TYPE in Adobe Creative Suite, do you ignore/accept V/A "Auto" or do you consciously select "Metrics" or "Optical"? I have a strong preference, especially for numerals. Which of these looks better to you? Top = Auto/Metrics. Bottom = Optical.

Fun "challenge": First thing in the morning, spend five minutes drawing the last dream fragment you recall from the night before. (Don't overthink it; it doesn't have to be "good.") Last night I was back in Nice, circa 1993. Go. :^)

Facial symmetry/asymmetry has always fascinated me. Today I played around with this particular actor's face in Photoshop. Great-looking either way, no doubt, but which would you prefer?

Have to pick photos of myself for a certain little project. Are all of these even the same person?! From bliss to blah in 17 frames. Aging sucks.
