A beautiful rustic upgrade from a basic fireplace. We removed the small gas fireplace and tile surround. Installed a larger gas fireplace with stone and a rustic mantel. In the process the client decided to add stone to the back side of their island to draw the rooms together.

I was asked to make some custom doors for a couple clients. One was a set for a bathroom closet, the others are for bedroom doors. If you are needing custom woodworking done. Let us know.

Would you like your Fireplace updated or a different style? Here the client wanted stone with a mantel to match. They asked me to find something "rustic". Out of the options that I gave them, they liked this one the best. The wooden mantel is an oak beam out of a barn from Pennsylvania that was built in 1801.

Here are pictures of a remodel that we have just completed in downtown Boise. A special thank you to my wife Anne Skoog who came in and installed the tile, faux brick and was instrumental in completing this project working right next to me until the very end. Replacement of the aluminum windows with new low-e vinyl windows. Most installers will cut the flanges off of the windows for an easier replacement. We go a step further and leave the flanges intact so the manufacturers warranty isn't voided.

Here is a living room that we updated. The TV inset was filled, sanded and painted the built in shelves, and built a new mantle above the fireplace.
