We are a well-established Tree and Landscaping Company located in Rockland County, NY. We have been in business for 40+ years and service all aspects of the landscaping and tree care.
We have immediate openings for year -around employment for a landscape foreman for an individual who is self-motivated and team oriented.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Must be able to able to receive and execute instructions in English
• Must be able to execute landscape plans per drawings
• Able to operate construction vehicles i.e. skid steer, excavator etc.
• Large-scale planting and tree installations
• All aspects of masonry work; installation of patios, walls and decks
• Learn the processes and procedures of the company
• Ability to spot problems and offer solutions
• Respectful and works well with other employees
• Medical, Retirement and Vacation Pay
• Clean Drivers License
Salary is commiserate with experience.

Throwback thursday from October 2020. A client asked for her company logo on a large pine flag. We did most of these custom logos by hand in the beginning so this was a challenging, but fun, request and we loved the way it came out (client did too!). This was one of the first times that Maggie would come in to hand paint the finishing touches, definitely showed us the possibility of blending our skills. • Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
• Ability to handle customer relations and represent D&D Tree & Landscaping, Inc. in a professional manner on clients’ landscapes
• Experience supervising General Tree Care operations while adhering to a high quality of safety, production and service
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
• Clean Driver's License required

Responsibilities
• You’ll apply your expertise in pruning, and safety to ensure the health and well-being of each client’s landscape
• Your focus will be to supervise a General Tree Care crew to provide high quality tree care to our clients
• You will be involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care
• You’ll be able to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing excellent service to our clients
