We had a wonderful meeting last night....last for this school year! We shared all the great things we were able to accomplish this year:

🎶Growth in membership
🎶Support for the play and musicals through concessions, merchandise sales, and Fangrams
🎶Beautiful playbill for Seussical
🎶Wine tasting event fundraiser
🎶Other fundraisers: Dom to Go, Five Guys, Pretzel Factory
🎶Scholarships to seniors; we were able to give more this year than previous years due to the success of our fundraising this year

It's been a fantastic year! Grateful to Lee Ann Devine, who was our fearless leader and our president this year. We'll miss her very much!

Lee Ann passed the baton to Melissa Rosales, our new NMP President for the 2024/2025 school year! Congratulations, Melissa!!🎶🎉

We are so sad to say goodbye to our 2023/2024 Nanuet Music Partners' President, Lee Ann Devine!! ❤️ She has been involved with the Nanuet Music Partners the past 4 years as a treasurer and president. She joined during the pandemic and remembers having meetings through Zoom. Lee Ann has been an integral part of NMP and helped the organization become the success it is today. She has been a huge supporter of music and theater in our schools and we were so fortunate to have her as a Nanuet Music Partner. Her daughter, Keira, will graduate this year. Keira is a member of the chorus and drama club.

Thank you so much, Lee Ann, for all that you have contributed over the years to NMP. You will be greatly missed!🎉❤️🎶

🎼Congratulations to Emma Ng, the 2024 A. MacArthur Barr “Musician of the Year.” The award is given annually to a Middle School student who demonstrates a high level of musical involvement in their school and community. Emmas teachers: Keilah Ussi, Tracy Dobelle, Melanie Sadoff and Nurkit Lucksom (pictured L-R) had this to say about the eighth grader:

"Emma Ng is a talented cellist, pianist, vocalist, arranger, and overall musician. She participates in Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Orchestra, our Fall Musical, as well as Chorus and Orchestra. During her free time, she arranges music for her and her friends to perform for fun and even for concerts. Besides being a talented musician, Emma is a compassionate and respectful person, and exemplifies what it means to be a mindful and musical Golden Knight."

There will be a "Spring Showcase" TOMORROW night, June 6th, at 7:30 p.m. at the High School. This will be a showcase of musical theater numbers including the new 7/8th Grade Vocal & Theater Arts class and the H.S. Concert Choir! 🎙️🎵🎶Please come out to support our students. It will be a fun night of music from some of your favorite musicals!

So wonderful to see these young people inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society this evening! Congratulations to all!🎶🎉

🎶Each year, the Nanuet Music Partners award scholarships to graduating seniors of Nanuet Senior High School. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee consisting of Music Department faculty and NMP volunteers. We were able to give more scholarships this year due to our fundraising efforts. We are so proud of all of our Music and Theater students! Please continue to share your talents with the world!

Mrs. Lee Ann Devine, our NMP President, presented the scholarships at the Class of 2024 Senior Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 31st.

The last of our Spring Concert series...the 5th Grade and M.S. Chamber Orchestra are performing tonight at 7:00 p.m. 🎶🎻 Please come out to support our students!

Now is the 4th Grade's turn on the Spring Concert schedule! 🎻🎷🎺🎶🎙 Middle School, here they come!

Last, but never least, the High School Chorus🎶 ended the Spring Concert with songs that captivated us and brought all the emotions with "You Will Be Found" featuring the seniors of chorus.

The band was magnificent last night at the High School Spring Concert! 🎺🎷🥁🎶The musicians played together in one accord bringing us to amazement! It was unforgetable!
