You may have heard the classic rumor that hair takes better to color if it’s “dirty” or unwashed.

The products used to color your hair have to break through any buildup and debris on your strands. This includes the natural oil from your scalp, as well as any additional products you may have used such as: hairsprays, serums, creams & pomades, root cover-ups, etc.!

⚠️This is important as this can risk the color not taking evenly or lifting to your desired level!

Arriving with clean and dry hair that has been washed the day before is ideal.

The cleaner your canvas, the better!
