On May 30th, 2018, Karenderya NY had a sold-out "Kamayan: A Communal Dining Experience to benefit WCFR". Our supporters are the best. We love and appreciate them greatly. A huge thank you to Cheryl Baun at Karenderya for this unforgettable experience. We were the first to experience the Kamayan dinner at a Filipino restaurant in Rockland, NY. "Kamayan" refers to the traditional practice in the Philippines of eating with one's hands. Chef Paolo Mendoza prepared a Filipino feast, which was laid out directly on banana leaves, along communal tables. No plates, no utensils, no pretense. Diners experienced a connection to their food and to their dining companions. Thanks to all who made this event possible! Special thanks to WCFR Sponsor Fidelis Care for the bags and hand sanitizers. We are also grateful for Mike Ellis Sr., owner of candidpicsnvids for the awesome pictures.

We are thrilled to share these pictures with you of our Twelfth "WCFR Bikes for Kids" Project Giveaway to four kids in the Latino community at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Spring Valley, New York on May 25th. We are so glad to see how excited they were about their new bikes. WCFR Founder & President, Dr. Jacqueline Cassagnol, and LiveOnNY, Lauren Shields gave away the bikes and helmets through a free raffle. Special thanks to LiveOnNY and Waste Connections for sponsoring this project and for their continued support in meeting our mission "to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training".

The Second Annual - WCFR Walk for Health was great! This year's weather was not so good, but our supporters braved the weather and walked in the rain. Our free giveaway of the day was a 30 minute massage (a value of $45) at DeCarlo Chiropractic to all of our participants. Thanks to all of you who participated!!!
