A few precious 3L’s came through the door this week and we had to get some pictures. I can’t even tell you how rare 3L’s of Screamer is and this parcel we recently acquired for a client is next level.

Not a bad night of juice. The ‘01 DRC Grand Echezeaux was amazing and the ‘89 Lynch Bages held its own on the table. Great food, better company and some dope wine.

One of the best Burgundies I’ve had in a while. Ripe but balanced red and black cherries, black truffles, roasted cola nuts, black tea, rose petals, hint of smoke, Asian spice, and mushroom on the palate that got more and more intense as the night drew on. It was decanted for 1 hour and two after that it was still getting better and better. I suspect that this wine will age for a very, very long time. Absolutely stunning.

This. Was. Awesome. Pierre Peters Heritage Champagne. Wines from 1921 to 2010 all Chardonnay rebottled in 2021 as a 100 year homage to its founding. 1,500 bottles and 60
Magnums produced. That’s it. This is the stuff of legends.

‘85 La Tache from DRC. Mic drop. Absolutely haunting and continued to open until the last sip 2 hours in.

Zoom in. This is a true Unicorn wine. 1961 Wedding Cuvée for the Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer. This wine, only made in magnums was absolutely spectacular, alive, rich and spellbinding.
