"I knew this version of Carpaccio was good the first time we put it on the menu in 2007. It’s proved so popular that we can’t take it off the menu. The smoky aioli, the tiny potato crisps, and the grilled Trumpet mushroom salad all come together to make it really compelling."

A Note From Chef Ken Frank:

This dish traces its origin back to 1980 at the original La Toque on Sunset Boulevard, inspired by the potatoes my French girlfriend's Mom would make us for lunch nearly every Saturday. It’s simply my favorite way to eat caviar. When I find a better recipe we’ll change, but this will be hard to beat. Hot crispy potato on the outside, tender on the inside, cool crème fraiche, a generous spoonful of caviar on top, I never tire of these. I remember when we charged $20 for one of these topped with real wild Caspian Beluga!

For one night only, Chef Ken Frank’s La Toque becomes ‘El Toque’- Join us for our 10th Annual Cinco de Mayo dinner event to benefit Puertas Abiertas Napa Community Center. We will be offering a special 5-Course Mexican Dinner prepared by the La Toque kitchen staff and will also be featuring hand-shaken Margaritas, a variety of tequilas, and ice-cold beers; and all for a great cause!

This special dinner event is $95pp++, plus a suggested minimum $100 donation per person to Puertas Abiertas at time of booking.

ONLINE BOOKINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR MAY 5TH – PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT DIRECTLY - 707.257.5157.

Two easy steps to reserve your spot for this event:
1. Determine your party size and call La Toque directly at
707.257.5157 to book your reservation (online bookings are not
available for this date).
2. Immediately thereafter, contact Puertas Abiertas
(www.PuertasAbiertasNapa.org) and make your
suggested minimum $100 per person donation.
a. On the donation page, guests are to select the reason for
donation as “Cinco de Mayo Dinner at La Toque”. On the
payment page, guests are to list the first & last name, party
size, & time of the reservation they booked at La Toque.
b. NOTE- The donation step must be done within 24 hours of
booking. If not done, the reservation will be automatically
canceled, and the table will be released to other guests.
