We are excited to welcome Alara Boyd as our new Graduate Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach!

Alara was a 3x National Finalist and an NCWWC National Champion at McKendree where she was a part of three national championship teams.

She has made four world teams for the USA, bringing back two world championship medals, and was a Fargo national champion in High School.

Alara will continue to compete on the senior level as a member of the Cardinal Wrestling Club.

Girls from any club or school team are welcome to attend. We are coached by North Central College coaches and Team USA members. The amount of time and energy this man puts into promoting the sport is unparalleled! Not only is he the ”Secret Weapon” for , but he is the brains behind West Suburban Girls Wrestling!

As a wise man once told me, ”There would be no FVWC without Ryan Hoger.” We can safely say the same for as well!

No words can describe how important he is to the entire wrestling community!

We do have a several WSGW families that feed into Oswego East Wrestling. They have 4 girls on the team this year and hosted a girls high school tournament. We bet they have a full girls line-up when our kids WSGW get there.
