Our latest patient testimonial!
"My name is Debbie. I'm a Type 2 diabetic that developed Diabetic Retinopathy. I had gone to my optometrist because my vision in one eye was very blurry. He quickly referred me to Dr. Grassi. All the testing in the office on my first visit confirmed what the other doctor thought. Dr Grassi then suggested a plan of action. I started treatment right away.
It's now been over 2 1/2 years of treatment and I have my vision back! It's all been because of Dr Grassi. Thank you!! He is a concerned, compassionate and very devoted doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Grassi. His staff is to be praised for their knowledge and professionalism. Thank you."
It is our honor and our privilege to have taken care of you. Thank you for the testimonial!

Do you have diabetes?
Do you know how diabetes affects the eye?
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends that people with type 1 diabetes have an eye exam within five years of being diagnosed. If you have type 2 diabetes, the ADA advises getting your initial eye exam at the time of your diagnosis.
If there's no evidence of retinopathy on your initial exam, the ADA recommends that people with diabetes get dilated and comprehensive eye exams at least every two years. If you have any level of retinopathy, you'll need eye exams at least annually.

Our latest patient testimonial:
"I was referred to Dr Grassi by my optometrist. My anxiety level was very high. Dr Grassi's staff immediately scheduled my appointment, took care of the insurance and medical history information over the phone. Upon my arrival, the technician took me through several tests explaining each one so I understood what the procedure was. I was emotional at times but the staff made sure that I was comfortable. When Dr Grassi came to explain the results of the tests, he spoke directly to me and made sure that I had my questions answered and understood his explanations. I did not feel rushed, he took all the time he needed. I would highly recommend Dr Grassi and his office, you will receive excellent care."
We love our patients! And we consider it our honor and privilege to take care of them. Thank you for your kind words, K!
