We here, are a blue state. It doesn't matter if we vote blue, red, or libertarian. The IL electoral votes will go to the Democratic Party.

At the DNC this week, the Obamas didn't bring up Ghazza or Is*real even once; not even out of humanitarian reasons.

Kamala brought up Ghazza last night at her acceptance speech; only after she said what she said about Is*real. There is nothing about 'ending the occupation.'

It is too early to call. Follow the 'Uncommitted voters' out of the Michigan block of voters, and as IL is already decided as blue; IL Muslims have a solid opportunity to voice a united voter block sending out a strong message to both parties as a 'united voice.' This is an opportunity to send out a very strong message, and it can only happen if we do it as a united block of votes.

Jamaal lost. Cori lost. These voices that were advocating for justice across the globe have been silenced.

When it comes to politics, particularly within the Muslim voting community, we need to be more serious. It's not enough to have one vote per household. It's imperative to have every eligible vote per household.

In town after town and city after city, voter turnout from our communities is dismally low. We are highly active on social media but sadly missing in action at the ballot box. Every vote counts. Each and every ballot matters.

Voter turnout in the St. Louis primary was abnormally low, and yesterday, Cori lost by 7,000 votes.

The issue extends beyond just voting for president. Voting is a significant option that matters; it is our voice.

By exercising our right to vote, we can influence both the red and blue parties through our collective power.

Both of our squad leaders lost the primaries due to their strong stance on Gazza.

Although our preferred congressional candidate did not secure a victory, your efforts and contributions were not in vain.

Standing for justice (haqq), equality, and the betterment of society helps combat Islamophobia.

Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman have been strong allies of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib in Congress.

It is a tragedy that their support for a ceasefire and their stance alongside our Muslim elected federal officials cost them their seats. This is a collective loss for us all.

Let us continue our mission with renewed vigor, knowing that every step towards justice and goodness is a step towards a brighter future for the generations to come. Our progeny deserves our hard work and perseverance. We must reflect on what legacy we are leaving for them.

Last night was a hard pill to swallow. The net is buzzing on the results of last night's primary.

We feel that kick to our gut. We worry about the future. We realize that we share values and commitment for a brighter religious future -- together we will continue to strive for the change we believe in and we will continue with the vision and mission of IMPAC. It is clear from many news outlets on the defining issues in these races. Millions were spent to unseat one of the squad runners last night.
According to AdImpact, satellite groups had spent more than $23 million on ads as of June 18, 2024. This is more than any other U.S. House primary to date.

In the fight between “Many vs. Money,” it is Money that won last night -- but that's not always going to be the case.

The key takeaway is that we got to keep at it with resilience. There is another vulnerable Squad member whose primary is a few short weeks away.

On the results from last night, remember that Aip@c spent 7x more for just a 17-percentage point lead for last night's results. Doing the math here, apartheid is defeated by making it financially unfeasible -- we got to work harder so it becomes unfeasible to sustain for the other side.

Let us be reminded that we must keep focus on the input— that which we are putting in. The Almighty will handle the output -- as long as we work with faith and perseverance to make our voices roar against the genocide.
