I want to give thanks to our first sponsor for our event this year, NORC's Veterans ERG. NORC at the University of Chicago. NORC, National Opinion Research Center, is is an independent social research organization in the United States. Established in 1941, its corporate headquarters is located in downtown Chicago, with offices in several other locations throughout the United States.

Within it we have the Veterans ERG, a group brought together of veterans, family/friends of veterans, or people interested in learning more about veterans and their experiences. Its mission is to increase visibility for Veterans within NORC by providing a sense of community and belonging within the organization. It helps to to access fellowship, guidance, and support for Veteran-related issues.

Sharkey's Karate Super Summer Camp is now open for registration!
This is the oldest sport karate camp in the country and a base of what many other sport martial art camps are designed after. Camp will run from July 15-21, 2024.

THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF CAMPERS FOR THIS SPECIAL CAMP. RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW!!!
Here is a typical daily schedule:
8:30am - Wake Up
8:45am - Run/Calisthenics
10:00am - Breakfast
11:00am - First Workout/Conditioning
12:00pm - Second Workout
1:00pm - Snack Break
1:15pm - 3rd Workout
3:00pm - Lunch Break
4:30pm - 4th Workout, typically an outside workout
6:30pm - Prepare for traditional class
7:00pm - Traditional Class
8:00pm - Wrap up for the day
8:30pm - Dinner
11:30pm - Lights Out

Pricing is $1000 for the entire week or $200 daily. The fee covers participants' meals, karate school housing, and world-class training. Participants will sleep on the karate floor; if you are looking for a hotel nearby for you and/or your kids, the hotel is not included in the fee structure. But our official hotel for the camp is the Holiday Inn Express on Diehl Road.

Naperville Challenge | MAT Action Welcome to the 16th Annual Naperville Challenge!

I am starting the design for this year's medals for Battle for the Troops. Please take a moment and let me know which one you like best. Thank you.

We are happy to announce that Battle for the Troops has taken the first steps in becoming a non-profit 501c(3) organization. It is our goal to be ready before our next event on November 10, 2024.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our event. We had the best turnout ever. The results of that was the ability to donate $1000+ to the Wounded Warriors Family Support.

We look forward to increasing our numbers for next year's event happening on November 10, 2024!
