Dear Friends and Patrons of The City Room Cafe,

We are writing to you with news of change and a new chapter. The City Room Cafe, a beloved spot in our community for over 30 years, has closed its doors. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your loyalty, support, and the cherished moments that have been a part of this place.

As we bid farewell to The City Room, we are excited to introduce a fresh beginning: Coffee & Kindness, now open under new ownership. Cole Morgan and Kyle Petty are delighted to welcome you to this new venture, where the community spirit and good coffee continue!

Coffee & Kindness is more than just a coffee shop; it's a place where each cup of coffee comes with a heartwarming experience. Our focus is on crafting top-notch coffee and offering a menu that mainly features a range of tasty sandwiches, ideal for both breakfast and lunch, along with house-made pastries. We are also happy to announce that every item on our menu can be made gluten-free, catering to all our customers' needs.

We invite you to step into Coffee & Kindness, where every visit is greeted with warmth and care. Here's to new beginnings, to continuing the legacy of a space filled with kindness, community, and exceptional coffee.

Hi everyone. Sorry to say but two of us have come down with really bad colds so we won’t be open today.

Sorry everyone, we will again be closed until the weekend. We need to fill the position of weekday waitstaff. If you know of any experienced waitstaff, please send them our way.

We usually not open on Mondays but we are open today Monday, January 16th for breakfast! We are open from 7am-1pm. Come on in and enjoy a yummy breakfast and warm up🥞🍳

Sorry for the late notice but we will be closed today as we are trying to transition into opening on weekends. I’m hoping to be open 1 weekend day for the next 2 weeks & then make the full transition into both days on the weekends.

Good Morning Everyone! Just wanted to give you all an update. We will be closed today, Fri 10/7, Sat 10/8 & Sun 10/9. We will be open on the Holiday, Mon 10/10. I'm very sorry for not being open today, but for everyone who knows me & how stubborn I can be, I lifted something I shouldn't have and have been placed on light duty for a few weeks. I had already promised one of the new staff the weekend off to attend a function prior to my "pig-headed" injury. Training is going very well & we are pushing to be open again on weekends by the end of this month. We are really looking forward to seeing our weekend customers and miss all your wonderful faces. Hopefully we'll see some of them on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!!

I’m very pleased with the staff I now have & now we can start preparing to get open on weekends in the near future. My sincerest apologies.
