Fun fact Friday!!
Did you know that being involved in art, including music and dance, is a great way to promote mental health!?
The best part is that it helps people to improve their mental health through creativity. Making art is helping many people express themselves, without even having to use words!
Did you know that Nurse Erin plays piano and loves to get crafty?! 💚🐝
It’s Thirsty Thursday!
Make sure you are drinking 64 ounces of water everyday!

Happy Friday!
One of the biggest barriers to seeking help with mental health is the stigma around mental illness.
One of the best ways to is to talk openly about mental health and illness.
Be conscious of the language you use when discussing this topic; choose compassion, empowerment, and equality (when compared to physical illness and health).
Educate yourself and be honest about treatment.
So this weekend, I encourage you to add mental health (illness and wellness) to your dinner table conversation topics! 💚
Whatever you do to fit in exercise during your day keep it simple and have fun!
Happy mental health Monday!
Regular exercise can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts your overall mood.
Happy Fun Friday!
It’s Thirsty Thursday!
Make sure you’re drinking at least 8 cups, or 64 ounces, of water today, and everyday; your mental health depends on it!
Even being the tiniest bit under-hydrated can affect your mood.
When you haven’t been drinking enough water, your body starts to trigger different areas of the brain that make you feel more anxious or nervous and can even heighten your emotions.
Staying hydrated can prevent the intensity of those enhanced feelings.
So drink more water! 💚🐝💦
Mindfulness made easy! Because, mental health matters!
2020 got you feeling overwhelmed?
Who wouldn’t be?! Covid, virtual school, lack of socialization, disruption of routines.... the list goes on.
This creates in us overwhelming feelings like frustration, worry, anger, irritability, sadness, & fear that can lead us to act in unkind ways.
But you can better control the behaviors that these strong feelings bring with mindfulness.
Tune in later today for Mindfulness 101, and learn some what exactly mindfulness means, along with some simple mindfulness techniques to help you stay calm and collected. 💚🐝
Good morning!
Vitamin D is not only essential for keeping our bones strong and our tissues healthy, but it is also linked to good mental health!
Vitamin D is also known as the sunshine vitamin because the best source of vitamin D comes from the sun!
So make sure to spend at least 15 minutes outside everyday this week! (And wear sunscreen if you plan to stay out longer than that) 🤪
Hope you enjoyed your long weekend and were able to get some added sunshine! 💚🐝 ☀️
It’s Fun Fact Friday!
And even though facts about mental health and mental illness may not be so “fun”, they are definitely eye opening.
Don’t wait to seek help.
Hydrate Hornets! 💚💧🐝
